Julija Volodymyrivna Tymosjenko er en ukrainsk politiker og leder for partiet Fedrelandsforbundet (Батьківщина). Hun var Ukrainas statsminister fra 18. desember 2007 til 4. mars 2010, da regjeringen ble avsatt gjennom mistillitsvotum i nasjonalforsamlingen Verkhovna Rada. Tymosjenko var også landets statsminister fra 24. januar til 8. september 2005. Julija Tymosjenko satt fengslet fra 2011 til 22. februar 2014 da hun ble sluppet fri, forøvrig etter et vedtak i Ukrainas parlament. Vedtaket var presset frem etter de langvarige demonstrasjonene kalt Euromajdan med utgangspunkt i Majdan Nezalezjnosti i Kyiv.
