Tele2 AB er en svensk teleoperatør som tilbyr mobiltelefoni, fasttelefoni og mobilt bredbånd i 9 europeiske land. Selskapet ble etablert i 1993 av Jan Stenbeck, da det svenske Televerkets monopol på å levere fasttelefoni i Sverige ble opphevet. Fra mars 1993 kunne Tele2 kun tilby utenlandssamtaler, men fra oktober 1994 kunne de også tilby innenlandssamtaler. I 1997 var Comviq den første operatøren til å selge kontantkort for mobiltelefoni i Sverige, og samme år ble selskapet slått sammen med Tele2, som etablerte seg som en tilbyder av mobiltelefoni.
