Steven Christopher Stamkos er en canadisk profesjonell ishockeyspiller som er assisterende lagkaptein for den amerikanske klubben Tampa Bay Lightning i National Hockey League (NHL). Han spilte juniorhockey for Markham Waxers i OMHA innen han ble draftet som nr. 1 av Sarnia Sting ved OHL Entry Draft 2006. Han spilte for Sting i OHL og scoret i alt 100 mål i løpet av to sesonger. Etter en suksessfull OHL-karriere ble han draftet av Tampa Bay som nr. 1 ved NHL Entry Draft 2008.
