Bon Jovi er en amerikansk rockegruppe fra Sayreville, New Jersey. Gruppa ble startet i 1983 og består av vokalist og navnebror Jon Bon Jovi, gitarist Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, trommeslager Tico Torres, samt nåværende bassist Hugh McDonald.. Gruppas besetning har stortsett vært den samme hele tiden, det eneste unntaket er Alec John Such som sluttet i 1994, som uoffisielt ble erstattet av Hugh McDonald. Den fikk sin første hit med låten Runaway i 1984. I 1986 ble Bon Jovi verdenskjent med sitt tredje album, Slippery When Wet. Gruppas fjerde album, New Jersey ble like suksessfullt i 1988 og mellom 1986—1995 hadde Bon Jovi 13 Top 40-hits i USA. Av disse var de fire nummer en-hits på Billboard Hot 100: «You Give Love a Bad Name», «Livin' on a Prayer», «Bad Medicine» og «I'll Be There for You».
