AC/DC er et Grammy Award-vinnende hardrockband fra Australia, stiftet i 1973 av brødrene Malcolm og Angus Young. Bandet platedebuterte i Australia med albumet High Voltage i 1975, etterfulgt av T.N.T. samme år. Da bandet utga sitt tredje album i Australia, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap i 1976, fikk de platekontrakt med plateselskapet Atlantic Records, som gav ut albumet High Voltage internasjonalt.
